Can I access library resources from off-site?
If I have a library card, can I access the library's resources if I am not in the library?
Answer
That depends. All of the library's materials are accessible onsite without restriction - print materials, databases and online journals.
If you are not an MCU student, you cannot access any of the library's subscription resources remotely. Generally speaking, if you are not a student, your library card allows you to check out library materials.
If you are a student, you must know what your Library account number is in order to access electronic resources remotely.
Our Database A-Z list shows all of the resources available through the MCU Research Library. It also includes several resources that are Open Access or Government Resources (generally denoted by a black lock). These resources may be used by anyone.
