How do I link to Library online resources?
Answer
Follow these basic tips when providing direct links to MCU Research Library eResources:
- At the database or publisher website, look for the words Permalink, Share, Get Link, or other similar icons and tools on the page, document menu or in the PDF box
- Avoid copying URLs from the address bar, especially if they include the words "sessid" or long, random alphanumeric strings.
- Always test your link before sharing or posting it!
IMPORTANT NOTE ON LINKS AND OPENATHENS
- The Library will begin phasing in OpenAthens starting in August 2025.
- Permanent links provided by EBSCOhost and ProQuest databases are already structured to work with OpenAthens
- If you copied the URL after OpenAthens launch is complete (31 August 2025), there's no need to change them
